In this workshop, you will reflect on your linguistic biography and explore how languages can benefit your individual academic work and your contribution in teams. After a brief introduction to language and multilingualism theories, you will discuss their role in the globalized academic landscape. By exchanging ideas and best practices, you will discover strategies for using your language repertoire in research, finding and dealing with literature, and academic writing. Finally, you will consider how your (future) language skills can influence your research and career development and learn about support services at TU Darmstadt.
