Department VIII E – International Student Services advises international students on questions regarding visas and residence permits and maintains close contact with the Darmstadt Foreigners Office.

In addition, the department issues the “Confirmation of Educational Institution” (Bestätigung der Bildungseinrichtung) upon request for submission to the Foreigners Office. Please note that processing times may vary depending on the individual case.
