Exchange Student Housing Services

Who are we?

TU Darmstadt does not own or manage student dormitories. Therefore, our main goal is to assist incoming exchange students in their search for affordable student housing.

TU Darmstadt Exchange Student Housing Assistance (ESHA) offers a broad variety of services to exchange students in finding adequate accommodation. These services include an Accommodation Guide (with links to private and public dormitories, hotels and boarding houses), guidelines for searching accommodation on the private market, available housing offers, assistance with housing contracts and moving into a student dormitory. We also cooperate with various (public and private) student dormitories and landlords in town.

What is an exchange student?

You are an exchange student if

  • you have been formally accepted by the Office for International Relations and Mobility at TU Darmstadt to study/do research for one or two semesters (or possibly a shorter period of time) and
  • your home university is a partner institution of TU Darmstadt.

What are the next steps?
