Directorate III – Finance & Economic Affairs
Directorate III is responsible for the central supervision of University financial resources and is also a point of contact for business-related matters; the employees of the Directorate support the departments and institution in terms of autonomous financial management. As a central service area, it ensures that state funds are ready, spent correctly and information about this is available in the form of bank statements and reports.
The field of responsibility of the Directorate also includes controlling tasks and the drafting of the economic plan and the annual accounts of TU Darmstadt. Finally, the Directorate is responsible for procurement, calls for tenders and separation proceedings and assumes the booking of travel and excursion accounting.
