How to find us

The Human Resources and Organisational Development department is located in the Old Main Building (S1|03) of the TU Darmstadt.

Rooms 250 to 253 are located on the second mezzanine floor.

Room 362 is located on the third mezzanine floor.

The building is accessible to wheelchair users. The entrance to the lift is in the inner courtyard, which you can reach via the side of the building facing the Herrngarten.

The rooms of the Human Resources and Legal Affairs Directorate are located

on the 2nd mezzanine floor (2nd ZG),
located on the side facing the Herrngarten,
rooms 250-269 and

on the 3rd mezzanine floor (3rd ZG),
located on the side facing the Herrngarten,
rooms 352-362.

General overview Campus Stadtmitte

There are only a few parking options in the direct vicinity of the city centre location. Free parking spaces in the streets around the TU Darmstadt and in the rest of the Martinsviertel are rare. Therefore, please allow some time if you are coming to us by car.

  • Paid parking (parking ticket) can be found north of Kantplatz and on Schloßgartenstraße.
  • The car parks Schloßgarage/entrance Karolinenplatz (Cityring) and Darmstadtium (Alexanderstraße) are in the immediate vicinity of the TU Darmstadt.

How to get to TU Darmstadt

The TU Darmstadt is very easy to reach by public transport. The following bus and tram stops are located in the immediate vicinity of the city centre campus:

  • Schloß
  • Luisenplatz
  • Willy-Brandt-Platz
  • Alexanderstraße/TU

from the main railway station:

  • take tram line 5 to Luisenplatz
  • with tram line 3 to Willy-Brandt-Platz, Luisenplatz or to the castle
  • by bus line H or F to Luisenplatz, Schloß or Alexanderstraße/TU
  • by bus line K to Willy-Brandt-Platz, Luisenplatz or to the castle
