Gender Data Report

The Gender Data Report provides insights into key indicators of gender equality at TU Darmstadt. By collecting and updating gender-specific data for various academic career levels, status groups and areas, a tool has been established for strategically analysing the development of the proportion of women.

The TU Darmstadt Gender Data Report is published each year as part of the university's commitment to gender equality. The report is a joint effort by teams from the Unit Strategic Controlling and the Gender Equality Office. The tables and graphical analyses, accompanied by interpretations, provide a comprehensive overview of the proportion of women at various career levels, status groups and institutions within the university. The comparison between TU Darmstadt and other universities throws light on the university’s standing in the German higher education landscape.

The Gender Data Report also analyses nationality for the various academic qualification levels and the status groups. This additional diversity aspect provides insight into the university's internationality, which, like gender equality, is firmly embedded in the university’s strategy (see Diversity Strategy (opens in new tab)).

Short versions of previous Gender Data Reports can be found in the archive . Full versions are only available in German. They are for internal use only until 2023.
