The Directorate I – Strategic Development supports the Executive Board of TU Darmstadt in the institutional development and the strategic governance of the university.
For instance, the Directorate is concerned with professorial appointments, performance-oriented resource allocation, strategic programmes, strategic key data, organisation of governing bodies, and quality management.
By preparing and implementing strategic decisions of the Executive Board and the governing bodies, the Directorate contributes to the targeted development of the university, and thus helps to tap the full potential of TU Darmstadt’s autonomy status.
