The on-site review as part of the institutional evaluation took place in the Department of Chemistry from 4. to 6. February 2025.

During the on-site visit, the review panel, led by Prof. Dr. Ralf Ludwig (University of Rostock), held intensive discussions with representatives of the department, students, cooperation partners and the executive board on the future development of the department. The focus was on research strategy, professorial appointment planning and further development of degree programmes in the department.

The review report is expected in March 2025. On this basis, an agreement on objectives will be concluded between the department and the executive board in autumn 2025.
