As part of the second institutional evaluation of the University and State Library (ULB), the agreement on objectives has now been signed. The evaluation began with a kick-off meeting in January 2024. The self-evaluation report and on-site review in October 2024 addressed the following topics, among others: Future strategic focus of the library, including in the areas of open access, research data management, digitisation of the library stock, national and international cooperation.

Based on the recommendations of the external review panel, the comments of the President and the ULB's statement on the review report, the President and representatives of the ULB signed the agreement on objectives on 23 March 2025 [published internally at the university here]. (opens in new tab)

Two monitoring discussions are planned for the implementation period – in the summer semester of 2027 and in the summer semester of 2029.
