Unit VIIIB – Sub Unit Welcome Centre
The Welcome Centre is the central service facility and advice centre for all international scientists and scholars – from doctoral students, postdocs and guest researchers to newly appointed professors. It supports them and their families as well as the host departments and the central administration with special services and professional advice on all non-academic questions concerning their stay. The service starts with support and coordination in the visa application process and continues with close support during the onboarding process until the end of the stay. The Welcome Centre acts as a EURAXESS Contact Point within the European network EURAXESS.
