This document is a temporary document, which on request, extends a visa or residence permit until all paperwork for the application can be completed and the residence permit can be applied for. In most cases, this document is issued by the foreigner’s office when it was not possible to extend the residence permit in time.

This document extends the previous residence title with all its ancillary provisions.

If the residence status or ancillary provisions have to be changed, e.g. in order to take up employment, the entire residence permit must be changed at the responsible foreigner’s office.

A temporary document, including the ancillary provisions, can be issued after the application process.
