The 2024 university elections took place electronically in the election period from 28 June 2024 to 5 July 2024.
During this period, the election portal was accessible to all eligible voters via the following link:

In a joint meeting on 10 July 2024, the Election Board and the Election Committee adopted the election results determined as provisional on 5 July 2024 as the final election results.

In accordance with § 97 (7) of the Hessian Staff Representation Act (HPVG), a student assistant council is to be elected at the Technical University of Darmstadt.
The election of the Student Assistant Council took place from 27 February 2024 to 4 March 2024 as an electronic election with the option of postal voting on request.
The term of office of the members of the Student Assistant Council begins on 1 April 2024 and ends on 31 March 2025.

All persons who are employed as student assistants at TU Darmstadt at the time of submitting the election proposal are eligible to vote (eligible to stand for election).

The election of review board members of the German Research Foundation (DFG) for the term of office 2024 – 2028 took place from 23 October 2023 to 20 November 2023.
The overall voter turnout is 36.5 %. The voter turnout at the Technical University of Darmstadt is 44.98 %.
